Apache Attack Helicopter becomes Buddy

In this node of the Buddy project, an Apache attack helicopter morphs into Buddy. Twelve intermediate forms are generated between the front-line war machine and Buddy’s modernist logo-silhouette, tracing the connection between 2 markers of an historical zeitgeist. The forms range from anthropomorphized versions of the attack helicopter (copter w/eyes, nose and mouth) on through weird bi-winged vehicles to balloon-infested forms - all rendered as blind-embossed paper reliefs.
